COMBAT GUIDE
Opening sequence: your first moves
Level 60 · two-handed Arms · Mortal Strike and 2/2 Bloodthrill · one bleedable target
- Set Battle Stance before the pull. Charge when your group's positioning permits it.
- Apply Rend early against a durable target that can bleed.
- Main-hand hits against a target carrying your Rend have a 20% chance at 2/2 Bloodthrill to open a six-second Overpower window. Watch for that opening while keeping enough rage to use Mortal Strike.
What to use next
- Act on an available Overpower in Battle Stance. A dodge can open the attack; Bloodthrill also gives Rend a role.
- Keep Mortal Strike available by budgeting rage before queueing extra attacks.
- Use Heroic Strike as a surplus-rage outlet. Spending the next swing on it can leave too little rage for a higher-priority button.
PATCH NOTES
What changed
Forever's Arms play connects Rend and Overpower through Bloodthrill. The Battle Stance requirement matters when returning from a stance change.
